Marchéta Williams is a symbol of excellence in performance and music education. A jazz, R&B vocalist and prolific songwriter, Marchéta is becoming well known in the Central Valley of California. In addition to being a stage and commercial actress, she was featured vocalist for many years for the Jack Lantz Big Band, Southern California, and the Junius Courtney Big Band, Northern California, performing in a variety of venues throughout California.

Marchéta began studying piano at the age of seven, clarinet in fourth grade, continuing through college. She later turned her attention to singing.

Dr. Williams, a dedicated and seasoned educator, holds a Bachelor’s of Music Degree from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music, A Master’s in Education for the University of Southern California and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley.
